I'm doing a WIP show in Edinburgh for 2 weeks (City Cafe, 1-14th Aug, 12.30pm) then performing it in London (Camden Comedy Club, 18-19th Aug, 8pm). Please come. Here's the blurb:
Can't tell a psychiatrist from a psychic or narcissistic personality disorder from an American President? An NHS shrink maps the psychiatric landscape in this WIP. Because our minds don't come with a satnav. 'Perfect and hilarious' (Buzzfeed.com)
Last week I used exposure therapy on stage to cure Angela Barnes' fear of fish. A genuine phobia, she began the looong charity event literally hiding under the table and ended by walking over hot fish cakes, releasing a goldfish and kissing a cod!
By popular demand The Ayahuasca Diaries is coming to The Bill Murray, London. The low-down: last year I went to Peru in search of ayahuasca, a healing hallucinogenic so strong that just 1 dose has been likened to 15 years of therapy. So, was it the magic pill I crave? “A stand-out show" John Flemming.
Dead happy to be headlining this prestigious Bound & Gagged Edinburgh showcase. Our poster is a pastiche of the film Trainspotting, so that's me pulling my best coming-off-heroin face. August 3rd-27th, Cowgate Underbelly, 6.20pm
Delighted to feature in the Magners New Act competition final, for acts hand-picked by comedy promoters. Other acts included Lolly Adefope and Chris Washington and it was ultimately won by Sophie Willan.
